 Join the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance, 6309 Church Street on Sunday, March 10 from 12:30pm - 4:30pm for a Fun with Furniture Painting Class with instructor, Cheryl Taylor. 

Class Size Limit: 8
Student Age: 16 and up

Price: $70 - includes all painting supplies

You must bring a small piece of furniture to work on such as a chair, accent table, wall shelf, etc.

Learn how to paint an old piece of furniture to make it look new! This class will teach you how to prep, paint and bedazzle a piece of furniture that you thought was at the end of its useful life. You must bring your own small piece to work on during the class. $70 fee includes all other supplies. Advance registration required

Cheryl Taylor is a self-taught artist that began painting as a source of stress relief from the daily grind of the business world. Besides furniture painting, she enjoys taking photographs, working with alcohol ink, acrylics, watercolors and creating original art pieces from utilizing driftwood, shells, beach glass and other found objects all inspired by the beauty of Chincoteague Island.

The Lower Shore Performing Arts Center presents "Just Go to the Movies"... an evening of Oscar-winning songs from film at the Island Theatre, 4074 Main Street! Starring: Dean Defino, Nick Donchak, Emma Limbeck, Madelyn Shockley, Owen Shockley and Christine Swift... Music performed by Billy Conry.

Two performances: Saturday, March 9th at 7:00pm and Sunday, March 10th at 4:00pm (doors open 30 minutes prior to performance)

The performance can also be enjoyed on Saturday, March 23 at 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) at the MAR-VA Theater in Pocomoke, MD to benefit the Delmarva Discovery Museum
